DEFTONES: CD/DVD con lados B y rarezas, en Septiembre

Maverick Records ha reportado que el 27 de Septiembre es la fecha de lanzamiento del CD/DVD recopilatorio de lados B y temas inéditos de los DEFTONES. El lanzamiento incluirá además todos los videos de la banda hasta ahora y tomas exclusivas nunca antes vistas.

En una reciente entrevista con la revista británica Kerrang!, el lider de los DEFTONES, Chino Moreno, habla sobre la desición de hacer un disco recopilatorio: "Tenemos tantas grabaciones de covers y remixes, y hay un montón de cosas que la gente no ha oído. Tengo cajas llenas de cintas de VHS y hay muchas tomas de hueveo en el escenario y toda esa mierda salvaje. Será como una linea del tiempo desde el comienzo hasta ahora. Habrá un álbum de lados B y rarezas y un DVD, será realmente cool


had the following to say about the band's decision to issue the set: "We've got so many recordings of covers and remixes and there's loads of stuff people haven't really heard. I've got boxes of VHS tapes and there's so much fucking insane footage of crazy stage shows and wild shit. So it's going to be like a timeline from the beginning up to now. There'll be an album of B-sides and rarity songs and a DVD with it, so it's going to be really cool. 'Adrenaline' came out in September 1995, so I think we're aiming to release this around our 10th anniversary."
